Day 3 and what do I do with an aubergine?!

Day 3 has come and I'm happy to say, it's been a successful day. Well, successful in that nothing major happened.

We were blessed with sunshine, so we got out in the yarden (I can't call it a garden when there's no grass). We put baby jail outside, a quilt in the bottom and sat outside with a cuppa. It was blissful. I got my neighbour (she's 76 and has COPD) sorted with a milkman so she doesn't have to worry about that and we basked in the spring sunshine. It was bliss.

I closed my eyes and could almost imagine that I was on the beach in Cyprus. My cuppa was a cocktail and the wedding was definitely happening.

That's been the hardest thing through this (alongside not being able to see my Nana). The whole uncertainty of the wedding. We are meant to fly to Cyprus 20th May with the ceremony on the 27th but we simply don't know if it will go ahead. We can't change anything yet as restrictions are only in place up until April 30th as well. SO FRUSTRATING.

I was soon brought back to reality when the biggest box of fruit and veg got delivered (at a safe distance) and I had to work out how to fit it all in my fridge! It's never looked so healthy. So now we have to plan our meals to make sure nothing gets wasted. What do I do with an aubergine?

Lunch was spent also outside, old school egg and chips for the three of us, made me think of weekends at my grandads. Selina enjoyed it. She enjoyed hearing next doors dog and feeling the breeze in her hair. She spent time chasing the bunnies around the garden, after insisting I let them out for a run.

Day 3 was a good day. Bring on day 4!

How are YOU?

I don't know what day it is anymore and to be fair, I don't really care. What I care for is the time that I am spending with my family....
