I don't know what day it is anymore and to be fair, I don't really care. What I care for is the time that I am spending with my family. Making it matter. Creating the memories to look back upon.
Though we are missing a big piece of our family, Rhys. Rhys' mum is a key worker and so Rhys is going to school 3 days a week while this is going in. And props to him he said he would prefer to be there, than at home working the school packs. He's one of three kids going. We would rather him be here with us. Enjoying the time together but we have to respect his wishes. We face time and catch up and make sure he is safe. We miss you Rhys boy.
Yesterday, was a quiet day. I was feeling low for the most part. This weekend I should have been spending with my hens in Amsterdam. Living it large (and buying beer and cheese - that's how rock n roll I am!) But instead, I was at home, in my Amsterdam clothes, not doing much. I had a nap. Selina napped. Ryan done uni work. We had lunch (leftovers) and Ryan treat me to a takeaway last night. I made the mistake of ordering an extra large chicken wrap.... It was bigger than Selina!
So enough about yesterday. I want to know how YOU are. You who are reading this, are you coping okay? How are you filling your time? I want you all to know that I am here if you need to offload, vent or chat.
One thing we have been doing over on Instagram, is turning it a different colour every Saturday night. Last week was the #influencerbluewave last night was the #influencergreenwave. We want to show respect to all key workers. No matter what area they work in. Last night was in celebration of supermarket workers and food workers. It's a beautiful sight to see so many people supporting and celebrating those that are keeping us going. I can't wait for next week's
