I suppose it doesn't help that its my birthday on monday, and instead of looking forward to a meal out and maybe a night out, i'm facing a day at home, followed by a night home alone while Ryan goes to work. Just another day of lockdown i guess. Imagine all the belated celebrations around the world when this is over.
Despite feeling this way, i did manage to make the edible paint that first spoke of, what seems like a million moons ago. And actually it went down a treat. And no, not down Selinas throat suprisingly.
Its a simple mix of baby cereal, water andnfood colouring. Simply add more or less food colouring depending on how vibrant you want your paints. Selina was in her element. She really enjoys messy play now and really enjoyed sploshing the paint all over the paper..and floor...and her clothes and legs....and face. Needless to say, bathtime was a must immediately after, though Selina wasnt happy with being taken away from the activity.
We have been waiting on this chair coming to go with her table and as soon as it was popped over the garden gate, Selina wanted to take it everywhere. She decided she didnt want to sit in the garden but wanted to be in the street. She dragged it outside and sat down, found a dandelion and sat for ages. When it came to dropping a shop off at her nanas, the chair nearly came in the car with us. This girl cracks me up.
I will try to not leave it so long for an update next time. Its nice to see you here, catching up with us. We hope you are well and keeping safe, til next time!
